Tasting Notes

La Terre Promise: Named after the Bruce Springteen song "Promised Land". A wild-ferment wine made from 60% Grenache gris, 30% Macabeu, and 10% Carignan blanc. A dry, medium-bodied white with a complex nose of river stones, quince and buttered toast. The palate combines flavours of pears and citrus with a long, spicy finish.

Planète Rose: A rosé made from 100% mourvèdre, like the famous rosé of Bandol in Provence. This is a wine for people who think they don't like rosé. It has attractive aromas of cherries and chestnut forest, a dry, refreshing palate and a surprisingly long finish.

Le Secret: A syrah-based wine which is aged for 2 years in French oak barrels. Rich and toasty with intense aromas and flavour of blackberries and toffee. The finish has a nice meaty character. Perfect with Steak and chips. Ageing potential 10 years.

Three Peaks: With a 90 Parker score, this wine is a blend of 75% Syrah, 13% Mourvèdre and 12% Grenache, with a light touch of oak from ageing in older barriques. The Mourvèdre is noticeable in the aroma of leather. It clearly shows the terroir of the Aspres in its refreshing fruit character and medium body. It is ready for drinking 2 years after vintage, but will reward you more if kept for up to 8 years. Make sure to decant it if you can't wait.
