Intense ruby red color. By the nose this wine shows a wide range of fresh sensations of cherry, blackberry and violet. By the palate it reveals a dry sensation perfectly balanced to the silky tannins and the fruity taste. Food pairings: parmesan cheese, ham, roast meet and chicken.

A compressed Chianti Classico with plum and cherry character on the nose and palate with citrus undertones. It’s medium-bodied with creamy tannins and a medium fruity finish. Drink or hold.

The Castello Monterinaldi 2017 Chianti Classico (with the etching of a big old tortoise on its front label) shows rich and ripe fruit with dark berry, Morello cherry, light spice and sweet blackberry preserves. This is a mid-weight red with the soft tannins and medium intensity to pair with a spicy Italian sausage grilled with onions and peppers.
