All the beauty and strength of the Piedmontese philosophy shows in this traditional wine. It is aged in large barrels of Slavonian oak where it rests for twenty-four months, developing significant tannins and a full body.
Spectacular on its own, but certainly can be paired with Italian fare such as subtle-but-rich foods like truffle risotto and handmade pasta. Also a superb accompaniment to your charcuterie board with long-aged cheeses and thin-sliced, fatty meats.
